It’s a known fact that many human beings have made additions to their lives and homes with beings that are not human. They may have a dog, a cat, an iguana, a fish, a bird, a spider, and even a rabbit—just to name a few. Now, some invited them to become a part of their family, because they care about that particular species. Others may have adopted them to save them from a bad situation. Still others may just desire the company and wanted something to love them unconditionally without looking for anything in return.
The truth is, when the decision was made to bring them into their home and make them a part of their family, they also made a commitment to taking care of them. They committed to making sure they had food to eat, a safe and clean habitat, and making sure they stayed healthy was just as important. I know people who treat their furry friends like humans; sometimes even better than the humans they lived with prior.
Think on This…if we as human beings will take excellent care of these creatures, what more will our Heavenly Father do for those He made in His likeness and in His image? When He created you and I—He committed Himself to taking care of us too. He committed to suppling every need we would have in order for us to develop into the well-rounded men and women we’ve become throughout the course of our lives. He did it at the being ,and He will continue until the end. Why? Because as the sparrow—He Watches Over You—Too. Life can be challenging in itself, but knowing you have someone that cares for you, is willing to supply your every need, and has chosen to love you unconditionally—makes life worth living even in times of difficulty or uncertainty. Afterall it’s the job He also committed to do. He’s concerned about every part of you.
Think on This…if the Bible says that God watches over the sparrows and not one of them is forgotten by Him—then where do we fit in? It goes on to say that we should not fear if His concern for us is missing, because we are of more value to Him than many sparrows. Whether it feels like it or not—God is committed to taking care and watching out for our wellbeing. It would do us well to remember that especially when things seem so out of sync. God will never forget any of those He created, and that includes you. Remember, He might be concerned about the little sparrow—but He Watches Over You—Too! (Read Luke 12:4-7 kjv)
