Human beings are different in so many ways. When we look out into the world, we can see this being displayed on a daily basis. This is not a bad thing—because we were created to be individuals at best. No one person is the same.
As I’ve matured in age, I admit that I’m not the same little girl I was so many years ago. With that change comes different behaviors, attitudes, desires, mindsets, and a whole lot of faults that we must work through when it comes to dealing with others who aren’t completely like us. We often let our differences separate us, instead of enhancing our relationships and interactions. I am so grateful that God is constantly “Looking Beyond It All.”
The Bible says God doesn’t focus on the outward show of mankind, but He looks at their hearts and supplies them with what they stand in need of regardless. In other words, He sees things completely different than we do and this in itself is truly a blessing!
Every day we wake up will not always be the same as yesterday and whether we feel like it or not—God created us as we are, because it pleased Him. It’s our personal responsibility to embrace who we are and not compare ourselves with others. Yes, we all have faults—but God continues to look beyond them—to meet our needs.
We won’t always enjoy everything life throws at us—but we are “Still Saved”. God is on our side and loves us enough to continue “Looking Beyond It All” to take care of our needs. He created us and never forget; we are never alone. We have an advocate standing by to assist us in all things. Take the time to thank Him for “Looking Beyond It All” and still embracing you as His own. (Read Philippians 4:19 KJV)
