I don’t know about you, but every day I wake up, get up, and go about my day, I don’t always feel like I’m saved. I have thoughts that weigh me down, most days. I’m expected to do things on my job that I don’t necessarily feel like doing, nor deal with some of the people I have to work with. Sometimes I just want to be left alone—to be alone.
In those times the thing that I’m most grateful for is that God doesn’t hold my attitude against me. He won’t withhold His love from me, nor will He withdraw Himself from me. He knows all about me, and yet He chooses to love me anyway! On our worst days we’re Still Saved.
Salvation is a gift we’ve been given if we’re smart enough to accept it. It’s a gift that was purchased by blood for all mankind. Most people when giving a gift to someone they don’t hound them about it or track them down to take it back if the person acts up or out one day. God is no different. Try to thank The Lord for choosing to make a way for you to be with Him eternally. Then, when your attitude seems to be less than your best, remember you’re Still Saved!
